Attention Blogger Newbies: Q&A

Hey blogger newbies!

I want to put together some goodies for you all but I want to start off by a simple Q&A. Depending on the responses, I would like to post them here or on Millionaires Digest (of which I’m a new team member).

As a new blogger and a community blogger, there were a lot of things I didn’t understand so I want to give you an opportunity to post your questions in a safe environment.

But first, for all of you skeptics, here is a bit about me! 🙂

My name is Fairen but I initially entered blog-land as Felicia. I have started over ten blogs over the course of about three years. They have ranged from food, author and blogger connection, book reviews, and poetry to being completely random.

Thoughtful Minds United has been around since October of 2013 with various writers and currently has around 900 followers.

So, now that you know a bit about me, feel free to ask any questions in the comments that you have about blogging no matter how small!

If you feel uncomfortable doing that, simple fill out the form below to remain anonymous.

I look forward to it!

-Fairen

    1. Fairen, hope you don’t mind but I saw this and felt like I could chip in with something constructive.

Write with passion, write about what interests you and what is on your mind. As you gain followers never forget to be interactive with them. Read and comment on other blogs and if you find a “blogging challenge” that is to your taste, participate and link it back to your blog.

      Most important thing: Have fun!!!

    2. By gaining interest, I assume you mean receiving more traffic to your blog is this correct? If so, I think there are a few factors that lead to more traffic. 1. Providing honest content. It can be fiction or business but it must be true in that you have tapped into a slightly vulnerable part of you. If you do this, readers notice and keep coming. People don’t seem to want gimmicks, they want honesty. 2.Secondly, engagement is what I believe prevents a lot of bloggers from moving up. People simply don’t know that Briana exists. So a great way to allow them to know you is by talking with them on their blog or when they come to your blog, be yourself but talk to them. This can lead to recognition by word of mouth. Guest blogging is also amazing. Try to get on someone else’s blog and write a piece.
I can say more but I’ll leave you with that. Here is a link in which I talk more about blogger engagement and what that means in depth and relative to WordPress. https://thoughtfulmindsunited.com/2016/05/26/how-to-get-more-followers-using-wordpress/

I hope this helps! Please feel free to let me know if you have any more questions or need clarification!
